Sarah Kocher of Lincoln Awarded Augustana Trustees Scholarship, International Trip

Augustana College is pleased to announce that Sarah Kocher from Lincoln, Neb., a graduate of Southwest High School, has been offered a Trustees Scholarship. The Trustees Scholars represent the brightest and best young men and women who, beyond their academic accomplishments, have already shown their commitment to making the world an even better place through their community leadership, scientific exploration, artistic expression, demonstration of faith and athletic success.

In addition, Sarah has been selected to receive a $2,500 travel stipend for an international study experience in Scotland during spring break 2013.

These awards are based on Sarah's outstanding academic record and performance in the Distinguished Scholars Competition.

Augustana, located in Sioux Falls, S.D., is a nationally recognized, selective, comprehensive college (liberal arts and professional) affiliated with the Lutheran Church.
